If all my friends are employed, then it's a lot easier for me to find a job. It was actually a fascinating study that was done of how people got jobs after world war won. And whether people are employed or not just by whether their friends are employed. A ten % increase in somebody's in t employment in somebody's company led to that person having a lot more job opportunities.
