"I could only push the issues from the sexual abuse, push that away for so long. Eventually it's gonna catch up with you and you're gonna have to deal with it," he says. "The emotional pain is just as real as physical pain." The same part of the brain lights up when you're in emotional pain as it does when you are in physical pain. It's just as real.
