Can the Crown Appeal a Not Guilty Judgment?
In Canada, the crown can appeal a not guilty jury verdict. In order to appeal, the crown has to argue that the judge made a legal error serious enough to impact the verdict. You can't o be tried for the same thing twice. When it comes to murder, yes, you can appeal. But if you're found not guilty, it's over. That was exactly my reat. Igess.
