Is There a Need to Focus on Our Differences?

Some very powerful statements have been written about gosemine. And i think of those found their way into church curriculum and into the consciousness of some latter day saints. I think there's a natural tendency in many areas of life, not just religion, to focus on our differences. Maybe sometimes we have stressed so gessemane without also saying that we do believe in the atoning efficacy of the crucifixion. We've kind of hurt ourselves, maybe in some ways well.
