Is There a Commercial Use Case for Open Source Intelligence?
In the public sector, it has a specific definition of gathering publicly available information and using that for decision and advantage within the national security apparatus. Within the commercial space, it's been also kind of evolving over the years as more and more companies are worried about cyber threats. And they're starting to look at information that you can access on the internet. It's no longer just text and newspapers, it's videos and images and lots of different information that really has been transforming the way people are thinking about how they use publicly available data.
