The Influence of External Exposure on the Microbiota
The gut or the gastrointestinal tract is very long and has many different parts specializing in different functions. Humidity sweat, lotions, perfumes can all influence the composition of bugs on these surfaces. The microbiota of living in areas with extreme exposure are strongly influenced by the external exposure. Our bodies act without our knowledge to modulate the micro-environment of the various niches that are inhabited by the microbiota.
