Introduction
Duchen muscular distrophe is a common congenital condition caused by an exlent, recessive mutation leading to the absence of distrophin protein. It affects young males who present with progressive muscle weakness, scoliosis and cordio miopathy. Treatment involves a multidisciplinary approach to address cardiomiopathy, pulmonary disfunction, scoliosia and foot deformities.
