Shakespeare's juli caesar, oh ya otoca, drag us back to the beginning. The swords that they stab caesar with, cassius and brutus kill themselves with those same swords. This is something that, in turns, of his haunting of the play, seems to point to make very concrete the fact that julius caesar was not just a ruler, even a strong ruler, of rome.
