Do You Need a Two Hour Meeting?
A meeting should be held when there's a clear actionablea step to be taken at the end of the meeting. If everybody just goes in because, ey, there are doughnuts, that's not the best meeting. How many organizations have a monday morning meeting? Eveyone has no clear idea of why or what we're going to talk about. And i've been in meetings where we nail it in the first five minutes, but people are still talking,. were we're done, but the meeting is still going on for reasons that are not clear to me.
