The Role of Governments in Climate Change
Farming is a huge part of our greenhouse gas emissions. The farming sector, the smaller farmer, the medium-sized farmer, is making no money at the moment,. doing what they're doing. Maybe there are some big farmers who are making money, although I even doubt that. Government then is blowing through all of its commitments. It's speaking out both sides of its mouth. On one hand, it's telling farmers to expand their dairy herd and on the other hand, that's the very target that we will miss now. We're in a very bad position. Nobody is willing to admit that we are, but we definitely are when it comes to agriculture. No clear policy of how
