Hurricanes Aren't Going Anywhere.
It's hard to imagine the federal government allowing this to happen on the mainland. The island of Puerto Rico with more than three million people basically did not receive attention during that time period. If the state of Maryland was experiencing a statewide blackout during that period, I'm very confident that there would have been more coverage about it. Hurricanes aren't going anywhere. They're definitely not.
