The charges are class E felonies which is the lowest category of felony offense in New York. Junior: It'll certainly give fodder for his attorneys and for members of Congress who are on his own. But keep in mind that district attorneys can't make the law. They can't create criminal statutes. And so this is the criminal statute that was available.
