The Problem With Theological Minimalism
Reformed theology by nature is a totalizing understanding of theology, history, philosophy. Carl FH Henry says Christian revelation has nurtured a universal conviction that no theology or philosophy can be comprehensive. If Protestant orthodoxy holds itself aloof from the present world predicament, it is doomed to a much reduced role. The whole point is you look back at the two kingdoms theology of the Reformed crowd and they were like building culture, Christendom.
