Foucault's Quest for a Woman
Foucault says there's this hierarchical binary between homosexual and heterosexual. In other words, the queer can only be defined in opposition to that which excludes it, which is normalcy. And I had a hard time with this idea; when I read Foucault, I glazed right past it.
