The Importance of Gifted Children
When I was growing up, the whole idea of gifted was kind of weird. The thing that I didn't like about the word prodigy whenever I see it is because I think to some degree it marginalizes any effort that takes place after the test. And if you're introverted and you love doing math, so he went to this class where we had Saturday mornings we would do math with a fantastic teacher for three years. So there was a series of events and then the rest was just kind of a, seeing an interesting opportunity. It's amazing in our biology, most people are interested in studying specific things they're usually better studied in simpler animal species than humans.
