Bob Greene: I have never seen such a thorough treatment of the topic so far. The series is kind of an offshoot of some other work he did for Spectrum a few years ago. He wrote a story back in 2009 called This Car Runs On Code, which looked at the software inside vehicles as it was starting to really percolate through the vehicle.
