Juan de flandes was a resident artist at the court of isabella an ferando. He did two portraits that were pretty sure of ar the infantas. One is probably juana, and one is catalina. The one of patalina is absolutely, i think, one of the sweetest portraits ever painted of any one. She has this fresh, sweet glow. Her hair is mediterranean style hair. And she's got yards and yards of green ribbons wound through her hair. It humanizes her in good way - it does.
