Kevin McCarthy - Is He Gonna Be Speaker?
Kevin McCarthy still has to get that 218 vote on the floor on January 3rd. A bunch of MAGA Republicans like Matt Gaetz and Andy Biggs have said, hell no, they're trying to stop him. Maybe McCarthy can lose five members now and still be speaker. It might be such a razor-thin vote, but he can't lose any more than five,. That's for sure at this point.
