High Rise by Matt and James Ballard

Ballard's High Rise which is a sort of strange and like slightly brutal novel it's about a London apartment building in the early 70s. It's one of those books you you like kind of getting grossed in it and can't quite put it down, I strongly recommend it if you're looking for sort of like a strange bit of fiction to write.
