How to Memorize Complete Phrases

Language does not work as a collection of single words even though you might be taught that way. If you learn a complete phrase most of the words in that phrase will not be new to you. You're already gonna know them So unless you're an absolute beginner This is unless this is your first week learning a language. But what you're doing by memorizing the whole phrase is you're treating it as a block and putting it together in a meaningful unit. It actually makes it easier to memorize this new word now I know this sounds completely crazy, but try it.
