How Did You Know That They Were Tracking You?
Reporter: I learned about the investigation from a source inside the company and was eventually able to review internal company materials. One of the concerns is that their fear is also because of this national security law in China that the Chinese government can request information from a company if it wants to. TikTok has said repeatedly that they wouldn't give that information over, that they're not a Chinese company,. They're not beholden to the Chinese government and they wouldn't turn it over.
