Bob Greene: There's a lot of APS out there, whether they're card counters or slot players or video poker players who want to add sports betting to their repertoire. He says the one fundamental difference between sports betting and card counting is there's not a finite deck that you're dealing with when it comes to the possible outcomes. Greene: You can't quantify your edge as easily in sports betting as you can in card counting. And I think, honestly, I think that's going to bridge the gap for a many APs that want to go from card counting to sports betting.
