Is There a State Funeral?

Only a monarch or head of state can have a state funeral. A royal ceremonial funeral, confusingly, wouldn't be for a monarch. In history, traditionally, royal funerals have been paid for by the state. And parliament grants the money for funerals. So tat it involves that the new monarch and their family are plying to parliament for the funds,. Ultimately then it's picked up by the taxpayer.
