Wisconsin winters, we pay a ton of money. Summers, not so much. So what I've been doing over the past 16 months or so is assigning based on the average spent amount. Over the summer, I watched that balance with surplus, gain a surplus. And I was always thinking, okay. Is that average spent amount going to give me enough of a surplus to last the entire winter? and I just about made it.
