What's the Best Place to Host a Customer Advisory Board Meeting?

There's a general rule we suggest that there should never be more than one company employee for every two customers that attend the meeting. Do you recommend asking a customer to host in their facility or do you use a hotel, you know, some third party site? Some locations work better than others. Sometimes it's good to choose a location that is distant from the corporate headquarters and avoid distractions. It can help to have it in a small intimate hotel reception with great meeting facilities.
