How to Get People Over the Idea of Lumpy Returns

I never promote the possibility of lumpy returns. My major trend following strategy out here in Australia, I can tell you that the probability of achieving a 100% profit or probability of 100% profit is at 22 months. If you see somebody who's producing 1% every month and has never had a down month, you might start to get a little alarmed. That's what, as a trend following trader, that's ultimately what you're left with when time goes by,. You're left with lumpy returns, hopefully on the positive side.
