The Role of the Mechanical and Mechanical in Back Pain
The dominant determinant of who had musculo scaledal disorders, were those who had the greatest mechanical exposure closest to the physical tolerance of their tissues. The genetics predisposed certain people to that and how they handled the pain was a influenced by the psycho social mileu. But every study that i know of that's measured the relative role of all three show the mechanics dominate. So in that way, we can't dismiss any of them, but we have to put it in that context.
