Investors, when they think there's going to be inflation, or when they think the stock market's going to go up, they're going to choose that over a bore in bond. The general consensus of the world is that maybe this inflationary environment that we were in is going to peter out. And then we've got the fed just hunkering down, raising rates to slow things down.
