What Hospitals Provided Effective Responses During the Black Death?
It's not that well documented about exactly what happened in the hospitals during the black death. The archives of particular hospitals may tell us things here and there, but quite often they're recording mortality. I don't think it was the same scenario in the middle ages. The scale of the black death just was not able. You know, so a large hospital like santa mir lascala might have had 200 beds, but if you think about the number of people succumbing to the plague in sienna, it could not have coped.
