The Dispiriting Part of the Job
A lot of coaches justify their jobs around here. Not adding terribly terribly much and often actually just confusing things. Part of that is to do with I think the sort of generalised theory of bureaucracy. And anybody coming into a job has to change something in order to justify their arrival. Do you feel like it's pointless sometimes? We're sort of sitting on the sidelines commenting on things. There are other times where on this show particularly we're talking about these issues but it doesn't change anything. Things don't get better. That's the dispiriting bit as well.
