God's Rejection of Israel
The letter of St. Paul to the Romans, chapter 11, Israel's rejection is not final. I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. As they were stoning Stephen, he prayed, Lord Jesus, receive my Spirit. And he knelt down and cried with a loud voice, Lord, do not hold this sin against them. But when he had said this, he fell asleep.
