The Great Acceleration

The anthropocene, as i write in this book, is set to continue. That is the signature of human activity that has altered fundamentally atmospheric chemistry,. oceanic chemistry, climate and a whole lot of other things. And so in that sense, the antherbazine is much longer span, looks likely to be a much longer span of time. But it's also time in a different register. It is a geological interval rather than strictly a historical interview interval.
