i feel like this other about the invisibility cloak speaks to white privilege, but i can't totally work it out. But there's also this line, the cloak didn't stop him from being solid. My gut is that that is also about the experience of being white. Even if you're not being seen by society, it doesn't make you any less real in all your full humanity. And so there, you know, full flesh and blood.
