Is There Power in the Name of Jesus?
The Ephesian church is praised for not having succumbed to the doctrine of the Nicoleatans, which held that Christians were allowed to eat, meet, sacrifice to idols. The people at Ephesus are very careful to disconnect themselves from Artemis and any other foreign deity in their worship of Jesus. And if you don't believe that there's power in that God and in his son, whom he sent, who's the Messiah? How do you explain the fact that I have the power to heal in his name?
