The Sun Cable Project Is a New Industry for Australia

Sun Cable is a company that believes high voltage DC cables are the most efficient way to transport energy over long distances. The first cable of which is the Australian ASEAN Powerlink, AAPL, will go from the Northern Territory up to Darwin and then a couple thousand kilometers across the ocean floor to Singapore. Losses are very low and it will mean 20% change of Singapore's power will come from renewable Australian Sunshine. It's a cheaper energy source for Singapore as well as a renewable energy source as well as an export industry for Australia.
