The Dead Weight Loss From Taxes
The dead weight loss from taxes is the loss imposed on some that is not a gain to anyone. When you have extremely high tax rates, people do a lot of things they wouldn't ordinarily do that add absolutely nothing to the economy. The increased tax rates caused them to engage in behavior that would be otherwise inefficient for them. Bingo. What a retraction. You know it's not a project veratas retraction.
