Is the Great Resignation a Collective Action?
The great resignation doesn't necessarily constitute a collective labor action, let alone a general strike. A collective labor action is when workers deliberately coordinate with each other to build or exert pow against an employer. The vehicle for expressing this power is most commonly, of course, a union. Union membership in the us. Unfortunately, is still at the lowest it's been in a century, and in fact, is continuing to decline.
