Charlie Werman tells how he was blown out of his tank and found a sack next to him. He says it had been filled with people screaming at him: 'Please shoot me, I can't stand this agony' The driver who'd burned up in the blast died but there was nothing left of him except a voice. "I remember sitting opposite and thinking I can't understand how you can get away with it," he said.
