Women in Greek Mythology - Are They Overlooked?

I think we really want that. Having a much older woman flipping the switch on the traditional scritch it is. And if youve got to choose whether you were going to play, as i say, lady macbeth or medea? You would pick medea, i think. Am, you know, you'd get more stage time, so why wouldn't you? There are really, really fantastic, complicated characters of of women and greek myth then it's a shame that we lost those. I'm afraid it's a combination of christianity and patriarchy.
