Humans Consume Alcohol

Human consumption of alcohol is unique in that we intentionally inflict brain damage on ourselves. Humans and chimpazees have a version of the alcohol dehydrogenes gean that produces an amazing forty fold more effective metabolism of alcohol than you have without it. But i'm also told that an elephant is such a big creature that it would have to eat an unimaginable amount of fermenting amaruleo fruit to actually make drunk. So i don't know what to make of but what i do know is that both humans and chimpzees and gerillas are able to tolerate large amounts of alcohol compared to other animals.
