I was laid off from meta last week and it wasn't like a huge surprise the mark had announced a year of efficiency back in February. My first reaction was immediately started applying for new jobs so I found that interesting where I was like on paper I'm writing about enough but at the same time reality changes when the big paychecks kind of stop. It took me actually that long to do because I had the severance package and I was strategic in planning but it is still hard to do.
