The Importance of Supporting the Team
In John's first full season as manager, Luton Town won the conference premiere with three games to spare. They reached 101 points and scored a record number of goals. But crucially, the fans were behind the team again. There was a point which where I think we talked about this the other day, Bonnie Henry, who had a time. Club captain got a boost from the crowd. So they invited that guy that abused the team to the training ground and they sorted it all out. From then onwards, a fan at every home game was brought into the huddle to listen to the managers talking about the team. And he brought everybody back together. That's how I look at it
