Conservationists and the Myth of Local Support
The dispute over the pastoralists, which i had seen just a snippit, ofi being challenged in my early research. And that's why i wrote a fortress conservation. Because what i realized then was that these oppressive policies, which can cause problems, so many problems locally, were sustained by their representations. If you've got a powerful group of wealthy, well connected people who are, who ere creating these presentations, these injustices could continue.
