Like Melbourne and Canberra, the capital city is a little confusing based on its spelling. And phonetically it looks like it should be said Brisbane. But again, you would never say it like that. You would never say the Ane from the A-N-E at the end. Instead, like Melbourne, it's Brisbane. So those are the main capital cities of the different states and territories in Australia.
