The yield on the 30-year guilt, which is one that we've all come to love in recent weeks, has actually come off a bit. High guilt yields are bad and they went up last Friday when Jeremy Hunt was pronounced Chancellor. They got towards the red zone of 5%. They opened this morning at about 4.7% on the30-year guilt and they're down to about 4.5+. Which sounds like not much, but it's quite a big move in guilt yields.
