The Invincible Fallacy and the Fatal Conceit
Solomon: The conventional, conventional wisdom itself can be misleading. That's why wisdom itself is unconventional or real intelligence is unconventional because there are all these seductive kinds of thoughts that people can fall for. But what Sol is on here is the invincible fallacy, which very tersely is that wherever there is a disparity of outcome, it must have been the result of discrimination. He says this was prevalent or the prevailing view just a few decades ago. And now we kind of have this opposite situation where every difference in outcome is assumed to be discrimination.
