I don't think she would have forced the book of commo prayerer, for instance. I can also see that she was not some one so she could mediate between people. She had a very kind of clear policy of what she herself wanted. So i don't think civil war would have started but it's extremely speculative. And she ultimately decides to not try and take the stuart throne. Why? Why is that? why does she not move for the throne? Well, i think she also just has a lot of loyalty towards her ther and towards her brother. Even even though she not always agrees wit with er how they e run things, she is still a steward.
