Thunderbirds - A Myth or Myth?

Throughout history the Thunderbird symbol has appeared on totem poles, pottery, petroglyphs, masks and jewellery. The legends have been told through songs and oral histories. Some say that the mythology began with the ancient mound builders. There is also the fact that people both within the Native American community and outside of the Native AmericanCommunity still report seeing Thunderbirds to this day.
