We Need a Supreme Court That's Beyond Politics

There's a strand of opinion that would say we need to get politics out of the selection of justices. That seems like nonsense to me, but what do you think of that? No, i'm with you. The most important thing is repudiate the idea that we could, in principle, get a supreme court that's beyond politics. Now the justices are out in force. At worst, depoliiciation proposals are hiding the ball. At best, they're kind of pretending that centris policy isn't politics, which it most definitely is.
