Anybody who pays wages of more than this is breaking the law. And it tries to just freeze the economy. Pree black death. Very good in theory foran owners am obviously impossible to enforce in practice. Yet the government tries, not only for a couple of years, but for literally two generations, to continue investigating breaches of the labor laws. This a this artificial structuring of the labour market. It causes enormous resentment, as as you can well imagine. But the thee, you know, the reason governments intervened to keep e in work? I don't think it was necessarily just because everyone governments nice and wanted people in work. The alternative to doing that would have been an anarchy
